How to cancel an iOS subscription

Trying to cancel an iOS subscription? If you’ve subscribed to a product with recurring payments on your iOS or iPadOS device, here’s a step by step guide on how to easily cancel your subscription.

  • Locate the App Store icon on your device and tap on it.
  • Tap on your profile picture in the top right corner of your device.
  • On the “Account” screen that appears select “Subscriptions.”
  • Find the subscription you want to cancel and tap on its name.
  • Tap on the “Cancel Subscription” button and a “Confirm Cancelation” screen will appear.
  • Tap on the “Confirm” button near the bottom of the screen to cancel the iOS subscription* you don’t want anymore.
  • That’s it! Your iOS subscription has been canceled!
  • Repeat the above steps to cancel other iOS subscriptions you no longer use.

*Please be aware that if Family Subscription Sharing is enabled, the subscription will no longer be shared with your family upon cancellation.

For any issues you might encounter during the cancelation process, reach out to Apple customer support for assistance: https://support.apple.com/billing. You will still be able to access any subscription until the end of your subscription’s billing cycle.
